In der Nase zeigt er sich intensiv und komplex mit Noten von Torfrauch, Meersalz und einer leichten Süße. Am Gaumen entfaltet sich ein kräftiger und würziger Geschmack mit deutlichen Rauchnoten, begleitet von einer angenehmen Fruchtigkeit und einer leichten Schärfe. Im Abgang zeigt sich der Ledaig 10Y lang und intensiv mit einer anhaltenden Rauchigkeit und einer subtilen Süße.
