"Cuate Rum 13" is produced in Barbados (Caribbean Sea) using traditional distillation methods from sugar cane molasses. The slow processing, from the fermentation of the mash to the actual rum, guarantees the preservation of as many aroma and flavor compounds as possible. The subsequent aging in various wooden barrels ensures that the rum gains balance and develops diverse, complex nuances. "Cuate Rum 13" obtains its particularly intense and unique flavor through a final maturation phase in small barrique barrels.

Der Cuate Rum 13 40,2% 0,7l ist ein goldener Rum aus der Dominikanischen Republik mit einem intensiven und komplexen Geschmack. In der Nase sind deutliche Noten von Vanille, Karamell und geröstetem Holz zu erkennen, begleitet von einer leichten Schärfe. Beim ersten Schluck entfaltet sich ein Aromenspiel aus süßen Noten von Karamell und Vanille, begleitet von einer angenehmen Würze von Pfeffer und Zimt. Im Abgang zeigt sich der Rum von seiner würzigen Seite, begleitet von einer leichten Schärfe und einem Hauch von geröstetem Holz.

Der Cuate Rum eignet sich hervorragend als Basis für Cocktails und Longdrinks. Besonders empfehlenswert ist er in einem klassischen Rum & Cola oder in einem Mai Tai. Auch pur auf Eis ist er ein Genuss.
